My favorite musical of all time. Audrey was so cute as Eliza before her transformation. She was poor, but she wasn't stupid!

"All I want is a room somewhere far away from the cold night air, " I believe this song is extremely relatable for most of us in today's economic climate.

This song will be the entrance song to my mum's funeral on February 1st 2022 in Wiltshire, England. She sang it regularly when I was aged about ten!

This is such a magic scene. Even without color lights or special effects, it makes me feel like i'm watching some fantasy movie.

From what I read, when Audrey leanred that they were going to dubbing over all of her hard work, she stormed straight off of the set. But being Audrey Hepburn, she returned the very next day to apologize for her behaviour.

I seriously miss the golden age of cinema. At least we can relive the magic by re-watching them ❤️

I relate to this so much. Now, I'm fortunate; I've come up from terrible poverty and am firmly middle class. But I still feel poor, because I look around and wish I could do more for people. I remember what it's like, when simple pleasures are something you can only dream about. If we just took care of each other better than we do... now that would really be loverly.

Marni Nixon did such a beautiful and wonderful job dubbing the vocals. What a legend she was.

I can't believe no one shows up here during this hard time. This movie can make you cry when you know how easy life used to be.

Still can't believe she was Snubbed at the Oscars in 1965 for her performance. She killed this part....

No matter how many times I hear this song, I simply LUV it. And, don’t we all “want a room somewhere.”

The lovely Audrey Hepburn dancing with her ballet chops. Oh and the support crew, singing baritone and tenor, just an exquisite piece. Thanks so much for putting this together.

I was 4 years old when this hit the theatre and my family took me to see it. I only remember the film because I was transfixed by Audrey Hepburn and the songs. God, am I getting old.

Went to the cinema in 1964 and, friends and neighbors, the sights and sounds of this wonderful musical filled me (an unwashed 16 year old) with a rare intoxication! I had NEVER seen anything like it! Love it still...
