I ended up getting this game today and it’s so good it made me forget my extreme back pain. I actually sat down at my desk for 4 hours and played this which isn’t something I’ve done for a videogame since before I had back surgery. Thanks for the videos because they’ve been helping me a ton setting up my factory.

extra tip, use only smart splitters set to overflow down the manifold line and you can build the factory 100% efficient even before you have the fastest belts. making it very easy to upgrade the belts and miners when you unlock them

This is the most helpful thing I've heard as a new Satisfactory player. Most videos give a step by step instruction on how to build a factory that they designed, but explaining a manifold lane gave me the info I needed to go out and build my own version now.

Probably the best tip there is in Satisfactory. As a bonus: work with Space. Don‘t be afraid to extend the platform a little or even build a second floor if you need to. But don‘t try to limit yourself spatially when you have a lot to work with.
