I miss the olden days when make-up focused more on the "drop dead" part of "drop dead gorgeous".

I watched this whole video freaking out because my sound wasn't working. Turned out my phone was connected to the speaker in the room where my family was watching a movie:/ they're very concerned and confused.

Thank you!! I've been looking FOREVER for a toxic make-up tutorial. All of these "non-toxic" ones are over rated and oh too common on YouTube these days!
I'm gonna be looking 💀 fresh 💀 on my next date night!

And the great thing is: Its all natural! Mercury, arsenic, lead, all natural things! Gwyneth loves it!

This was a wonderful tutorial. I noticed you barely touched on the belladonna drops for the eyes. Let us not forget lead for coloring our hair darker, copper arsinate as dye for the clothing, and the subtle use of opiates to get you through the day. How any proper lady survived passed their 20s is a miracle in itself.

"If your teeth fall out...if your skin turns gray...if you go blind". 😂😂😂I wasn't ready for the lady's "blind" eyes. I cackled. lol!

Body hair loss would be fine; at the beach, I'm often mistaken for an Italian/Persian Chewbacca.

Just kidding, I don't go into the outsides.

to be honest sometimes I day dream about going back in time with current makeup technology and recreating the "popular" looks but so much better and then just dominating the courts and becoming like a fucking millionaire advisor to the queen

Older artist friend of mine who was 86 when he died about 2 years ago. He was born in 1931. He had a Victorian grandmother he remembered as a boy, who wore high collar necks, long dresses, and wore her hair up always. Her style hand't changed in a good while. He said she stayed out of the sun as much as possible, and would use rice powder to make herself look extra pale. Sounds safer to me than lead! :D

Out of all the historical makeup tutorials covering Elizabethan/18th century makeup, yours is the most informative and actually covers the consequences.

As a cosmetology student, I found this video highly entertaining and educational.

If I may ask a question (since we're in the same ballpark): I'm interested in desairology. How should one go about getting into that particular field? How should one approach a funeral home (or, for that matter,  who should one approach) about styling hair and performing other beauty services for the deceased? Thank you!
