I put 20000+ miles on my 02 model and loved it. No problems whatsoever. I agree with you on the vibrations though. It was a bike which was ahead of its time in concept. I wish I still had it.

the bad thing whit this bike, is the stock carb, it's a big restriction and replacing it whit f.ex. the mikuni tm40 makes a new bike..much more fun and "snappy" to ride, together whit a full aftermarket exhaust, f.ex. acrapovic and the bike really comes alive, also a smaller front and a bigger rear sproket makes it even better offroad, mine is set up to max out at about 145 kph, and for me that means a low more fun and "grunt" offroad

What kickstand did you go with? I just got an 02 640 Adventure and am having issues location a side mounted kick stand.
