Recently whenever I go online, whether it's Instagram, Facebook or Google, I seem to get inundated with ads from the online retailer Temu! They must know I like to do a bit of running because a lot of the crazy cheap products are running related. This got me thinking, I wonder if any of these running accessories are any good? So I jumped on to their website and spent a good few hours going through all the running products and I picked out 8 handy items to try at the channel. The testing has been done and in this video we break down how all the Temu items have performed.

Really hope you enjoy the video, thanks for watching, we'll see you in the next video and as always - stay safe and keep on running!

A great video to do Loyd. I think that whilst I can see the temptation of their ridiculously cheap prices, they are generally cheap for a reason, not the best quality and, (perhaps more to the point) cheap Chinese labour etc and all that lies behind that. I personally would rather support our own businesses closer to home……

Is the bottle bpa and pvc free, or does the print on just say that? I personally wouldn't mess with that.
Some of the other stuff seemed surprisingly good.

I bought almost the entire set except the arm sleeves and insoles. They have two strips and three strips on the head lamp now. I bought the two strips and received plenty of bright light.

I wouldn’t trust the PVC/BPA free message on the bottle.

So glad someone made this video! Would also be interested to see a review for some of the Aonijie equipment that is out there. I got their hydration vest and trekking poles and have been impressed.

I wonder how the socks will fare after a few washes? I would probably buy the reflector harness and the magnetic red light.thanks for sharing.

I would urge anyone to look into Temu's ethical credentials before supporting their model. When goods can be made on the other side of the world and swnt to your door at this price, some poor soul is being ripped off and China has a serious slave problem 😢

Interesting watch, I did see someone asking for a sealable none leak soft flask on the ARC site

I bought the same headlamp on eBay (here in the US) and can validate the review. It’s not the brightest (I wish the main and side lights would turn on at the same time), but it gets the job done for road running. Have had it for about 2 months and no problems this far.

I have arm sleeves, shorts and caps, all under £1 each. All as good as a branded £25 alternative, and exactly the same product that is on e-bay for £5.

Loyd, I winced a bit when I saw the video title...As pretty much expected really. Most products these days can be made to look/feel decent enough right out of the bag. Key issue here for me would be the business model of Temu. The Future Proof channel did a good overview of the main problematic points a couple of weeks ago, worth watching. Bad labor practices, screwing suppliers (both allegedly, of course!) and not to mention the incredible waste as a result of manufacturing cheap goods that don't last, get wrapped in plastic and shipped all over the world and most likely, at a later date, end up in land-fills in non-Western countries. Obviously such things can be said of older, more established retailers but I do think firms like Patagonia, Salomon, Fjallraven, Petzl etc are more open about sustainability, environmental responsibilities and their supply chains, even if they also have much room for improvement. For anyone considering such purchases from Temu, I would suggest thinking again. The products are low-cost in the West but someone somewhere is paying a price for these things.

Great video. The reflective strap and clip on light look great. Going to get them I think. Soft flask looks ok but i want wider openings so i'll stick with harrier.

Ive ordered some running poles from Temu £24 reduced from £54, I may give them a review when they come, running poles seem to be a bit pricey in the uk and I’ve got too many poles already for hiking and skiing 😂

Well that’s pretty neat because you’re of course that keeps popping up on my computer every day at least and I didn’t know if it was a scam that either take my money and I never get any products or they would empty out my bank account or you know so just a note there legit they had winter puff jackets for like five US dollars
