Discovering Marh Rock at 37...

Why could anyone told me about that before??? Damn, this gonna be my new obsession! Everything I love : advanced guitar technique, sound, jazz chords, strange rythms, energy, sweet begginer apeggios. I discovered Yvette Young yesterday too. With this vocabulary, we can use so many more modes with open strings and other guitar tunings.

How could I miss it until now?

I should have been in another dimension.

My toxic trait is thinking that I can play at least 10 of these riffs flawlessly

Little did I know that my middle school obsession with The Fall of Troy would lead to my lifetime obsession with math rock, happy to see them on here! Sleepy Dog too!

God Steve, I haven't been back to your channel for a few years but I remember asking and talking about guitar through comments and you gave me lots of advice and I always tell people you were the one to teach me how to play

love your band, thanks for everything friend. I recommend your channel anytime guitar is mentioned within earshot it seems.

Cheers

I always loved that specific blue tele, i'm a boring white, natural or black guitar person but I would totally love a jazzmaster or tele in that colour

I was always way more into the type of riffs that Tera Melos, TFoT, MMISL etc would write, but this genre has been my favorite for over 15 years now and I don't see that stopping any time soon. The variety is just incredible.

The mountains riff at 1:15 reminds me a little of the fall of troy at 9:00

This is great. I'm new to this genre, and I've attempted to start writing music like this. This is excellent inspiration for me.
