I Plugged the astro Mixamp with optical cable on the tv and the usb is on the playstation 5. Is that correct?

Lots of experience with a40 and a50, the command center has always had side tone adjustment. first thing i do when i get a new one is turn it off, every time. My biggest criticism for this headset(both a40 and 50): For 250-350 headphones the mic options are pretty shity. if i want consistent and supreme mic quality i have to switch to my yeti nano. Sometime my friends cant hear me on discord because of whatever sound gate im using(the best one is home, which is stupid considering they have a tournament option >_>). i do love my A40TR and can't wait to see how it handles ps5.

This isn't working for me every time I connect the microphone it makes a little Low pitched pop noise in the headphones. But there's no audio, just the microphone works.

so apparently you need an HDMI adapter astro sell one specifically for the ps5 :D so just search it up

I just bought the ASTRO A40 TR brand new from BestBuy, and let me tell you that the Headset and command Center are complete cant get this set to update to the latest firmware to work with my Xbox Series X.. waste of $270 and my time.. customer service is a major joke

GUYS I NEED HELP, I have the astro a50 third gen and just bought the a40 tr + mixamp and the thing about them both is that the Dolby Audio button is not working as it should because every time I press the button it sounds weird like with eco and with a metallic sound... I don't think it is supposed to sound like that... so if anybody have an answer or a way to fix it please let me know... BTW I play on ps4
