1- Panaji Principal District and Sessions Court has discharged former CM Digambar Kamat & 16 others including miner Ravindra Prakash in illegal mining case. SIT (mining) in 2018 had charge sheeted Kamat for condoning delay for renewal of a mining lease, when he was CM during 2007-2012.

2- The Margao Principal District and Sessions Court has convicted Vikat Bhagat for raping and murdering Irish female tourist on 13 March 2017. Vikat is also found guilty of destruction of evidence. Her body was repatriated to the Republic of Ireland later that month. A second post-mortem examination found brain damage and strangulation as the cause of death. Vikat Bhagat, 31, was the only person who was charged in connection with the case. He denied the charges.

3- Goa Police in a statement has said that all statements done by Siddiqui alias Suleman Khan to journalists contain unverified claims. Police said that some of his statements may be intended to dissuade witnesses from providing their statements to police or court. Police also has asked for forensic analysis of all videos either made, received or sent from accused Suleman Siddique Khan's mobile phone seized yesterday. Also a  detailed inquiry has been sought from SDPO Panaji on conduct of policemen accompanying him to Court to ascertain lapses, if any.

4-Anjuna police have arrested Rakesh Raha n/o Raibareli, Parshuram Gawas r/o Nadora & Vicky Naik r/o Old Goa for alleged criminal intimidation, theft and trespassing to vacate house forcefully at Anjuna. All 3 are security guards by profession. Also the investigation of case of criminal intimidation, theft & trespassing to vacate house forcefully at Anjuna has been transferred from Anjuna police to Crime Branch. Prime accused Janardhan Khorate still untraceable.

5- Anjuna police have arrested Rakesh Raha n/o Raibareli, Parshuram Gawas r/o Nadora & Vicky Naik r/o Old Goa for alleged criminal intimidation, theft and trespassing to vacate house forcefully at Anjuna. All 3 are security guards by profession.
