I'm still wondering how daddy Lumba and nana Acheampong were able to compose this generational song.
The most surprising thing is, they were very young, about 23 years.

The song never gets old, getting greener every time

When you’re in Ghana you enjoy the song but when you’re out of Africa, u understand the lyrics

It takes someone who is in the hustle field to understand and appreciate the lyrics.

As a Ghanaian in the Diaspora I appreciate the honesty and efforts of this all time classic. I am blessed to see the life of DL. He is indeed a legend. This is March 2023 🇬🇧

This music makes me feel nostalgic to go back home. Indeed home is the best place but as the music goes "na yɛrekɔ no sɛn nie? Yɛrekɔ akɔdi deɛn? Wonnim m'adwendwen ama maka akwantuo mu.
Indeed Lumba is an icon.

We should also pay homage to BODO STAIGER the number one Sound engineer/music producer who contributed to most of the Highlife sounds( 80's-90's) we've been enjoying. R.I.P...BODO🙏🏾

I dedicate this song to Ghanaians living outside Ghana especially those finding it difficult to get papers not to give up. It is no joke in the western world.

This song has a deep meaning. For many of us living abroad, we need to focus on the real reason we are here and forget about anything that doesn't help us move forward positively.
