Great tutorial. What a versatile block - and I love the idea of using both sizes to make a really interesting quilt. I hadn't thought of the idea of a sampler quilt but I think this is a great opportunity to improve my skills. Thanks again for sharing and providing the free pattern!

This is wonderful - I’ve been wanting this pattern with Pittsburgh Steelers fabrics for my son. This is great 👍 especially since you list different sizes 💗

I am intrigued to see your sampler. They've never been my fave, but I love the idea of block study/skill builders. I like symmetry!! Thanks for the tips. Be well!

Love-love-love the sampler layouts. I know you are putting together a sampler quilt, but I've never found one that really makes "my skirt fly up" - but the multi-size option with the 3 large and many small??? *insert squee of joy here*...also looks like a great scrap-buster.
And as always - KEEP THE LIPSTCK!!

I use childrens crayola washable markers that are fine point. I draw my free motion quilting on myquilt tops before quilting and it helps me since I’m new to it. And when my quilt is all done just wash it and it is all gone. I have even tested it in freezer to see if it com s back and it doesn’t. Also tested it with my iron before and after washing my quilt and it doesn’t re appear. My 7 year old granddaughter taught me this. I like it better than frizz on pens. I tested them and some did re appear

Oh my goodness there are so many terms that I dont use in the apparel world! Snowball? Layer Cake? Does it involve actual cake because if it does I'm there! Great video!!!

Clover has a white marker that also disappears with heat. Been around way longer than the Frixon pens, used it for years, works great.

Hi Megan. I’m not sure if it’s on my end or not but there were no pop-ups at the end of the video. I only mention this because there typically is and it might be useful for you to know. I’ll go back and check out the block study playlist “manually” - LOL 😂😂 Have a great day.
