A rare 3 team trade that I'd consider win win win. Flyers start an actual rebuild, Columbus gets better on the backend at a reasonable cap hit, and LA cleared cap space needed likely to get Gavrikov signed. Can't really criticize it much, right now anyways...

Columbus has a number of young D, including the young D that helped Bedard with his scoring in Regina, Svozil. But with Mr Proverov going there, I wonder if they'll have way to many young first round D who become available (Mateychuk? Jiricek? Svozil?? Loss of a first round pick for Proverov.
Philly.... well Philly is having an awesome start to the Summer anyways finding out about young Cutter Gauthier even before this trade. Gauthier had an awesome turnout at the Worlds and led the worlds with 57 shots. That's what Gauthier brought to the Worlds.
BTW, Carlsson had handled Sweden's faceoffs on their top line up until the playoffs including but not limited to Germany, Finland, USA, etc. Fantilli handled less than a dozen faceoffs and became a winger as the contest continued. His faceoffs were on the 4th or 3rd line, Glass handled the F/offs on the top line. Do you want a Center to wing?

Philly definitely wins this trade. Columbus hiring Babcock imo was terrible move, no free agent is gonna really want to sign there and he’s done nothing since Detroit days with so much talent on that team. The old style coaching isn’t working nowadays and coaches need to adapt and if not you won’t be a winner beyond the era.
