Great tip. I first noticed this technique in the Bourne Identity movies when Jason was being chased, he would abruptly make a 90 degree turn, go this new direction for some distance, and then turn back toward his intended destination. I have employed the same technique in CoD4 online game play, and it really does work to throw someone off your trail.

Sound like some of the E&E training we did back in Mateo, if we were found by the seniors we had 2 mikes to climb the mountain ropes and get back to the dirt road. Love the videos and tips, keep it up. OOhraa

For infrared, which everyone with a brain has, you’ll need a reflective or insulation (or both) as part of your gear. There are reflective emergency type blankets that can work or make sure your gear has IR defeating capabilities.

You are a shining sun with IR vision for long distances.
