One flaw with these. If you are getting too many grounds in the coffee. (If YES read on): To see why, Take an empty pot and place the base, basket with basket lid into the pot. As the base contacts the pot bottom you will notice the basket lid raises up by about 1/8th inch as the lid sets flush onto the pot rim (not the basket rim). What that does is pushes coffee grains through that gap during percolation. To resolve, place a 1/8th inch thick metal washer (or wrap silver wire.. what I ultimately did for the ions) onto the base stem before the basket. That raises the basket so it rests on the basket lid. It solved my issue of too many grains in my coffee. ☕️

Ok that's what I need, coffee filters. I purchased an old school stove top coffee percolator like this and I was getting coffee grinds in my coffee cup.

Real talk. I do that every time and I get coffee grounds in my coffee. I don’t know what I am doing wrong… maybe I need more course coffee?
