I’m the guy that first coined “Pattern Fishing”.then in the 80’s I published a very successful book,”Roland Martin’s 101 bass catching secrets “, which was all about establishing a bass pattern. A big part of that book was the 9 reasons why bass bite in the first place. Today I’ll explain those reasons and also cast some insight on how to catch them!

With all due respect, it's time for you to use your influence to speak out against Livescope. You and Ray started a professional sport, now you must save it.

It's wonderful Roland, you are the greatest of all time in my opinion.
But unfortunately the livescope that you support and endorse makes your lifetime of knowledge irrelevant. You don't need a pattern- you don't even need to cast. Just stare at your screen, and when you see a big one, dangle a bait into its mouth. Tournament bass fishing, that you created, has been destroyed.
