The US and Europe have the race towards net zero at the top of their agendas. But developing nations lag behind. This week we look into how climate change feeds into inequality. First, we speak to Youna Sokona, Vice Chair of the IPCC, who tells us why there's a glaring data gap in the UN's landmark climate publication. Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama explains the impact of Europe and America's electric waste on West Africa and how it inspires his art. And we assess Brazil's green promises: can South America's biggest polluter really hit net zero by 2050?

I think Africa does not have to accept the recycling dump. It must be a mutual agreement for things to be dumped there. Of course, we need to recycle. But to simply accuse the West of inequality may not necessarily follow your political narrative.
