I wish the AI wouldn't crash so much when you're right next to them. If they would've never done that, I probably could've saved 5 hours of making this video... but it's 11.

This is something I wanted to see the entire series. Itsuki being laughed at for his 85, but being inspired by Takumi showing how great his car can be, he puts all his money and time into tuning the car and honing his skills at Akina while Project D goes on. Then when Takumi is near the end, Itsuki can finally race against him as the "86 Downhill Specialists". Eventually, Takumi forgets the downhill and the legend of the 86 fades into a memory, but Itsuki with his laughable 85 still many years later terrorizes those who wish to challenge him. Showing that even the most unskilled drivers at first can eventually become legendary racers with dedication and practice.
