The owner of this property in this scene were our neighbors. They were a veeeery religious family and were disappointed how the property was portrayed. The family that did own it are long gone, but the house still survives. It is located on the west side of highway 2A near the Bergthal/Westcott road south of Didsbury, Alberta. Pretty much looks the same today.

I've just found out her grand grand dad was from a small village called Bordovice here in Czech republic where I have my house. 🙂I'm pretty sure my grand grand grand dad had to knew him, the village had like 300 people at most.
