I use mason jar's instead of a plastic cup, that way you can set the mason jar upright in boiling water and get all of the wax. :)

Loved the hands on how to... very good tips and tricks.... you are both fun to watch... Uncle studmuffin needs to do more vids, preferably shirtless... hahahha.. total hottie.... you are cute to, but I don't swing that way... hahahaha...

However, PLEASE, the idea that a candle, any kind of candle, can generate negative ions and thus clear the air of pollutants etc, is a false claim put out by those who produce beeswax candles.. a marketing ploy to sell more product and could have 'negative' effects if someone relies on this bogus information to try and treat an issue, such as mold in their home etc.

Thanks for the video... and I'm serious about the shirtless vids... ahahaha... work-out... at the beach or pool... modeling... whatever... hahahaha

Honey Bees got 8 wax gland under there abdomen where they sweat the wax out, they reach under em selfs get it .Then chew it up pack it to make comb > it takes 6 six bees with heads to gather making the cell, it make a perfect hexagon shape > look at em where there hooked up making comb, the heat of the hive Helps them 3 ways> 1 to keep brood warm, 2 sweat wax out 3 dry out the wax comb to give it > strength ITS VERY INTERESTING

What dadu said. Beeswax comes from the honeycomb builders caste of workers. They eat excess and make wax scales on their abdomin instead of fat then chew the scales to make comb.

Just a helpful hint. You actually can remove beeswax and the residue from anything. Though I can't stress enough how sober and careful you should be using the process. I agree with these two that you should dedicate your kit items to beeswax but what if you have a mishap and have gotten beeswax all over everything and need to remove it? Or you used your wife's favorite jar given by her grandmother and you're in the doghouse? First, make a small investment in safety and don't worry, you'll enjoy and find many many other uses for the gear. Materials: 1. snug pair cotton gardening gloves 2. slightly loose-fitting thin vinyl hospital type disposable gloves, found in boxes of 100 @ med supply stores @ $6 (they go over the cotton gloves) 3. Neoprene gloves with sleeves (Lowes or Home Depot) 4. Large boiling pot, bigger the better 5.Tongs, rubber handled 6. Paper towels 7. Sponge Process: 1. Fill your big pot with enough water to submerge a little more than half of the jar, vase or whatever else you need the beeswax off 2. Bring the water to a boil 3. Remove from heat 4. For non submersible items, skip to step 10 5. Run hot water from the tap over your item to pre-heat 6. Using tongs place the item on its side in the pot 7. Slowly spin the item to bring it up to the same temperature as the water 8. Using tongs quickly remove item bringing no water other than droplets out of pan and onto paper towel 9. Quickly wipe down item with dry, fresh paper towels 10. For a non submersible electrical item be sure to unplug 11. Using a sponge/ greenpad combo, dip 1/4 the sponge in the hot water and quickly scrub a small area of the wax in one direction 12. Squeeze out the sponge in the sink or anywhere other than your hot-pot 13. Repeat using small area one direction method along with paper towels 14. Steel wool is effective for surfaces than will not be hurt by it, use hot pot to heat the wool or scrubber 15. Isopropyl alcohol is somewhat effective for the final haze

ya man metal molds so easy get candle out. but if not sure want get them  yet any way. we use cut top of square orange juice box or soy milk box. peanut cans, pregame cans or if want leave in container old mansion jar with lid screw on. paper mold tare off. jar when no longer burns put boiling water wax turn liquid in jar poor out quickly or add some wax if want make new candle. like vedic
