"Computer Game / Firecracker" as performed by Yellow Magic Orchestra.

A little tribute video to one of my favorite old school Synthpop tunes by none other than the great YMO. These guys are one of the pioneering groups behind Electronic music. Sit back, listen and learn a bit about YMO!

BOYYY, this was the ish back then! This really went over well in the black community. Our generation (70's & 80's) was exposed to a lot of different music, artists & genres & we didn't care if you were white, asian, male, female, young, old, whatever. As long as you sounded good, you were accepted.

I've been searching for this legendary hit online since 2009... Finally was blessed with the reward for my relentlessness and tenacity today July 16, 2022! 👈😸👈 I hadn't heard this jam since living in Frankfurt, Germany with my parents during 1979. It was spun often on AFN Radio, which is a US military radio & TV station for military families serving overseas... 43 years ago, and this tune is fantastically still in my head and spirit. Wow! Now that's power & influence! Many blessings and respect to the uploader! 🙏

Without a doubt one of the most influential songs during the early days of NYC HipHop! Along with Kraftwerk numbers, Apache, Just Begun & Rock Creek Park

I partied to this track in 70s doing the Disco era. The record was not released in all markets and it was not available for purchase in St. Louis. In the late 90s I was in a vintage record store and scored an unopened 12 inch vinyl DJ promo copy that that was translucent gold that's never been played.

Had 2 of the 12" of these joints and was a DJ back then. This was the only record that made me cry when it broke after my friend sat on it.

Nice pop locking music from back in the day.
When I was in Junior High I had a classmate that danced to this and killed it. Her chorography was on point.

One of my favorite songs as a child, brings back so many memories, this song was released in 1978 and in 2020 is still an amazing piece of music, truly a work of art, I'm so suprised not one rapper has made a sample selection from this piece, so many wonderful riffs, hooks & baselines, kinda reminds me of a stand off between a tekken fighter and a street

This never gets old. First heard this on ABC's Saturday program Wide World of Sports. Been listening ever since. Before we learned the name, my brother and I called it, "Chinese Disco"...lol
