I feel Betty. I'm praying for her. She deserves goodness. She is still polite even when confused ❤😢

This lovely lady reminds me of my Mother. My Mother had Alzheimer, it’s an awful disease, I find some similarities with ALS, she would get frustrated in beginning, forgetting, not being able to write her own name, eventually saw that she would want to say something and couldn’t, trapped in her own body. But Alzheimer is different, found anger, super strength, becoming very sexual, frustration, periods when you could have dialogue. But even through all that we found joy, laughter, love and affection and I had some of the best times in my life with my Mom. Memories of her singing in a restaurant, saying swear words she would never say as every inch a lady. I really believed everything we hold inside came out without a filter, but so did the affection. I became her teacher repeating a lesson, such as difficult in showing her how to hold utensils or to hold a cup of water to her lips, proud when she just did it on her own instinctively. Everything she did for me as an infant or toddler, I eventually had to do for her and I became her strongest advocate, understanding her every word and gesture with love.
Remember these moments with fondness even when you want to cry, learn the words of her song.

Please take her to get her hair professionally done while she can still get around. Especially if no one combs it for her. We always made sure mom's hair was done. It made her feel better.

Why not help her with chelation therapy rather than invade her privacy
