I can tell you it was not the power of music, , it is the amazing peace people have through faith in the Most High! Grateful to have their lives and family and yes even a piano that survived, .

It's not only amazing being able to play, but that the piano is still in tune. God bless him and all those that are suffering from this terrible storm system.

He is probably in shock and it hasn’t sunk in yet, good thoughts for all those people affected by this devastating disaster!

Gaither! The "a" sound is long. Sounds like Gay! Gaither.

It's not the power of music... it's the power of that man's Christian faith!

The Love of JESUS gave the man "Power" to play the music, in Peace. Not the other way she said.

Beautifully played too. God bless all these people. May they have as much peace and support as possible under such challenging circumstances.

Hey. Kentucky girl here. The very least you “professional” talking heads could do, is learn the correct pronunciation of the name of the TOWN and world famous gospel music artists that wrote the song. They are LEGENDS. How embarrassing, and frankly, just plain lazy. Take time to do it right. I think you owe them all an apology.

What a nice moment to cut off and talk over the said beautiful moment. Media is milking this for ratings.

I’m sure the man was greatly comforted while playing his piano.

I love this man!! Beautiful. That one simple act has brought some small semblance of comfort to a good many people. I hope he continues.

Hate the reporters comment on how he dosent know if he would be this calm if his house was destroyed. who cares about the house?! I know I wouldn’t, what matters most is family and unfortunately a lot of them lost what’s truly important their family…

Unbelievable that any news reporter cannot pronounce the name Gaither. The Gaither music has been around for many, many years and watched and loved by millions. Pretty obvious this (reporter) is not associated with anything Christian.

I can relate to what this man is doing. Therapeutic yes. Music can free the mind of troubles, temporarily but necessary for some.

Newscasters, you are missing the point of the song. It's not about being calm. It's about having faith.

Jesus Jesus Jesus, theres just something about that name. Master, Savior, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, let all heaven and earth proclaim. Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, but there is something about that name. He was praising his heavenly Father for who He is and how wonderful His love and grace is. This song was written by Gospel legends Bill and Gloria Gaither. They have written thousands of Christian songs. But I see you aren't familiar with the awesomeness of the words of this great song. Let him play the whole song. It would minister to those who are hurting. Shut your mouths for once. We don't need to hear your opinion on the matter. God bless him and his family.💖🫂💖

When you go through things in life you will be humble. Getting mad or fear don’t take you no where.
