We LOVE The Band. We love them so much we hardly ever dare to perform any of their songs, except in our living room. But since it's Christmas and this is a Christmas song, and we brought some family and it's almost in our living room, we thought it would be okay.

Our musical family means the world to us, here represented by Silje Kilmork Vemøy on vocals, Christer Slaaen on guitar and vocals, Kjetil Steensnæs on pedal steel and Torjus Nevland on bongos and vocals. Recorded at the Jansen Records HQ.

I understand your point of view about not wanting to do covers especially of a group you think so much of but maybe think of it from my point of view. I know of the Band I have heard the 2 songs they have spent the last few decades playing on classic rock radio here in the US but I have never heard of this song and of course I loved they way you did it so maybe I will take some time to listen to more of the Band. Your cover of Toto's Pamela made me go listen to the Toto's version of the song and then I wish I hadn't yours is SO much better. Anyway, you doing covers exposes people like me to songs they might not know and the ones I have heard you do sound great. Much love to you all and Merry Christmas!
