I have an endurance bike, touring bike, and city/hybrid bike.


All three of them have threaded BBs. Two of them are 10-speed. One of them has a triple chainring.


And of course, one of them has rim brakes. ;)

I have a 1984 Cinelli Super Corsa built out of Columbus SLX with a Campagnolo 50th Anniversary groupset . . . doesn't get much more retro than that! Loved the show . . . Jon and Ollie are great but the chemistry between Is and Dan made for a fantastic show! Maybe let them do it once a month?

I remember getting a so called custom bike put together at a bike shop in Sydney in 1975. The bike came with a 6 speed cluster, and when I told the shop owner I was thinking of doing some touring with it, he changed the ratio from 13/18 to 13/19!

8:40 when I first started road cycling in my late 30's, my granny ring made a huge difference in enjoying the many hills around my town. A huge advantage to getting into the sport-- newb and weak! Absolutely but if you don't start, you never finish!
