Being from a Bengali medium what I realised, is that actual fear we had was not about being able to speak in English, rather it was the fear of being judged by the people around. I always could communicate better with my foreigner colleagues than Indian ones. We need to take English as a language and be more empathetic towards who are learning it.

I legit improved my English by watching English movies and listening to English songs. I think consuming content which is in English helps a lot.

She's absolutely right, i never learnt grammar or vocabulary or sentence formation still i can speak English coz i learnt English by listening English conversations, the more you listen, the more your brain will remember it and identify it, and you will automatically start using English sentences in your daily conversation, and gradually you'll start speaking multiple sentences, that's how you learn a language not by divining it into chapters but by listening and speaking
