It's crazy to me that the Bosman rule was even needed. How can a club hold on to the registration of a player who is out of contract? Blatant violation of basic employment laws.

Wolves passed on a huge fee for Traore only for them to regress and lose him for free

Every player that wants to move clubs should allow their contract to run out and become a free agent. They can possibly make more money with their new club because no transfer fee is involved.

Free agents are the future! Those being sold for ridiculous hyperinflated transfer fees are not going to be bought out unless they are world class. The players will just let the contract run out and then move for ridiculous wages.

It’s kind of sad in a way knowing Stevie would be earning around 350k a week with the talent he had

Marc Bowman ended up a poor enough guy. It’s a pity he wasn’t rewarded from everyone that benefitted for it

The Bosman Rule to me

He did ruined football because now we only have the rich teams winning most of the time because they are the only ones who can pay for the best players and if you are a player yourself you are going to want to go to the best teams which are the teams with deep pockets which leaves most teams having to sell their best players for cash just to keep up with the big clubs also on top of that there been many clubs who have gone broke trying to keep up with the big clubs because if you want to win you need the best players and to get the best players to your club you need to pay the player, agent and so on which is so much money which most teams can't do

Bosman did all this for what ? because at the end he broke with no one helping him and he ruined the sport just because he wanted more money if there a lesson to all this it that money is not everything

The people who don't care are the top leagues and upper middle tier because they get the most money form the top clubs in their league, the top clubs because they have all the power in the league that the clubs play in, the supporters around the world who mostly support the top clubs because most don't want to support clubs who can't win anything, the fa in the top leagues and so on

I could keep going but it's already to long as it is so I will leave it at that
