Wet hair, sea salt spray, use fingers for middle part, comb/brush backwards, scrunch, hairdry w/o nozzle, add clay for volume

Edit: Tried it, worked great, got same hair length. Good for whilst you're waiting to grow it out. Skip the hairdryer if you have thick hair like me, my hair looked better air dryed, hairdryer just messed it all up, hairdryer probably better if you have thin hair for volume
