I love the way Doug dresses. 1.5 million subscribers and he looks like he’s going out the back to mow the lawn.

"Not that fast" for a shopping cart 132 mph is pretty fast to me.

When I bought mine, the salesman (6' 4" tall) climbed into the trunk and shut it. He said this is due to the fact that you are not allowed to sell an Italian car in the US, unless you can put a body in the trunk. :D

I absolutely ADORE my Abarth. I have been considering what next car I would buy, but I have a hard time finding anything as stealthy-fun as my 2015. I drive it HARD and it never attracts the attention of the po-po. And, as hard as I drive it, I am getting nearly 40MPG consistently.

I got mine for $8500. 2013, 27000 miles on it, I love it. The greatest commuter car. 31MPG and a big old smile.

I own a 2012 500 Abarth, and it actually took me months to find there are hidden buttons on the back of the steering wheel that you can use to control radio volume! I was happy to learn that I would no longer have to do the rapid "press press press"

Only Doug reviews totally different cars...last month a Rolls Royce Phantom, this week a $9000 tiny FIAT...and some day he reviews the FORD T MODEL ;)

I bought my 2013 Abarth new in July of 2013, with 101 miles. In the next few days, it'll be turning 68, 000 miles. I've driven this car from Seattle to SoCal, to Salt Lake City, even a 6200 mile road trip to Wisconsin. I've taken this car camping more times than I can count. I've hauled things that you'd never dream of (always taking pics). I've had a couple of intermittent electric gremlins that occurred early on a couple of times, and then have not returned. I've had some trim issues that I've been able to resolve on my own. And zero mechanical issues. I knew when I bought this car, the 'reputation' of FIAT, but I didn't care. I'm also aware of the haters of this car/brand, and honestly, let 'em hate. This car has brought me the kind of driving joy and experience I never thought I have, coupled with a tiny footprint, yet capable cargo (you'd be surprised how much you can fit in one). Last November I left my 9-5 job to start doing delivery with Amazon, using my Abarth. I took out the passenger and rear seats-and the amount of boxes I can fit is the same amount people are putting in much larger vehicles. I use and abuse this car daily. I'm horrible with maintenance. Maybe my Abarth is an exception to the 'rule' but this car has happily taken everything I've done to it, and keeps going. Every single time I drive my car for deliveries, I am the luckiest man in the world...getting paid to drive the car I love. I have confidence that even with my maintenance 'schedule' that my Abarth will be around for many reliable years and miles.

11:00 The hole in the center console is the air temperature sensor. There is a tiny little fan that you should be able to hear when engine off ignition on. It sucks in the ambient air and measures it. :)

0-60 in about 6.6 seconds should be better than a 2 in acceleration. Not blazing, but certainly quick.

I've owned a few fast Fiats and I swear the 500 is the most bonkers thing ever made. Such a sweet little car.
