Thanks Jens. Every time I watch you I learn something new. Was also initially puzzled by the Em7 = Cmaj7(9) but remembered something I read from Frank Gambale in the 90's explaining the same principle long before I became interested in jazz chord melody. G7 = Cmaj11 without the root or third and Bm7b5 = Cmaj13 without the root, third or 5th (Anyway I think this is right 😅)
