I grew up during this era, mid 40's to late 50's. Mom always had the radio on during the day, and music played all day long, all the pop songs of the era. Of course, she also listened to her soap operas during the mornings - Young Dr Malone, Our Gal Sunday, and Days of Our Lives, as she did her housework. Mom's been gone since Dec '08, and Dad since Jan '13, but I am grateful that they both instilled in me a love for music.

My best friend patsy timan whos not here no more was related too bob luman who was married to her sister thats gone also bob luman was barbra nancy lumans husband they were all family and very lucky and amazing people and bob luman talks about patty page and marty robbins and others in his songs and i just come too realize how lucky i was too be bestfriends with pasty timan that was the greatest gift i ever got too get too know over the years
