Kshar ~ I adore Persian food, my fav! Thank you for helping us learn. I once ate an Ashe that had ground meat (lamb?), maybe barley & was topped with oil & fried onions. It was sooo good!! I don't know the name of it, do you? I would love to learn to make that Ashe.

It might be delicious but it's not "Khoreshte mast" for sure. Actually it is "Khoreshte mast" blasphemy!
My Esfahanian heart was broken by watching this. Although it is called "Khoresht" (stew) this is not a typical stew which serves with rice and warm! Actually, it is a dessert and serves cold!
