Okay, gyro playing pilot here from way back.

First, it looks like a lot of fun and it looks like you got a great airstrip setup there. I envy you. Let's see some more videos!

Second, gyrocopter is a trademark name that Igor Benson used for his gyroplane kits. I got into gyroplanes in high school after seeing one of those ads in popular science magazine and saying "yes" when my dad asked me if I wanted to build one. I built a gyrocopter. Not sure if you can get those kits anymore. I'm pretty sure you can't.

Second, that looks a lot more like a normal landing then a hover taxi. I think if you're going to call it a hover taxi you've got to actually hover. Given the size of the bird you're flying that's going to take a pretty good headwind. Definitely doable under the right conditions though and it's great skills practice.
