Oh I didn't know It Ends with Us is going to be a movie. I gave it 3*. Where the Crawdads Sing was a great book and movie for me. Fourth Wing!!! OH YEAH! I have Flawless on hold at the library.

I couldn't bring myself to read another book by Abby Jimenez because I really disliked the friend zone. It wasn't even the writing that wasn't for me, because I think she tells a story very well, but the characters really weren't likeable in my opinion and just gave me a weird vibe😅But as you just said that you also didn't like that book and still loved her others, I might just have to give it another go:) Did anyone here feel the same way about her first book? Which one would you recommend instead?

I didn't even finish Beach Read. I just couldn't get into it. I think because I didn't like the 'Fun Banter' that others seem to like. I heard she has that in all her books so I haven't read any of her others for that reason. I do want to read Spells For Forgetting.

Good Girls Guide To Murder was ok. It was doing good, then eye rollers, and a few very unrealistic things in there that, in actuality, Pip would have been dead! The authors research had to come from movies and not actual documentaries. I did love the concept, the style, but the overall, just a no.
