It's easy to look at people who have had big moral failures and think "I would never do something like that," but we have to remember that it rarely starts with something big and glaring. More often than not, it's a small series of decisions that lead there. God has a purpose for each one of us, and the enemy would love to keep us from being able to walk in that purpose. Don't compromise what God has called you to! In this video we're doing a Genesis 13 Bible study and talking about how sin creeps in slowly, so we need to be on guard.

Another example I can think of is David and Bathsheeba...the story ends up with adultery and murder, but it first starts with David allowing his gaze to linger somewhere it shouldn't. Just another one of the many reminders we see throughout Scripture that sin is a slippery slope. I pray this video encouraged you! 🤍

Oh wow! This video seems meant to be for me. I have gotten to reading again, but instead of wholesome Christian Fiction or Christian Non-fiction or spending more time in the Bible it's lustful supernatural things that led me to a dark path before finding Jesus. Amen, great word for the day. I have been through those temptations and made poor choices and suffered for it many times. Thank the Lord God lead me out and on to drawing closer to Him. What a great topic and one that we definitely can easily fall into. We all want to fit in and be liked.
