Hoyoverse OFFICIALLY Confirmed how we get 80 Pulls in Honkai: Star Rail! While that sounds like a great amount at face value, there is a lot more to break down about this that COULD BE concerning. Let's talk about it.

80 pulls is "marketing". We're just getting 20-30 pulls. The rest is built into the game and should not be counted lol

So it's 20 standard pulls from pre-registration + 40 standard from missions + 10 limited pulls + 1600 crystals (10 pull of your choice). Nice way of wording Hoyo. Getting 80 wishes to use on limited banner would be nice. 20 is not that great.

The easy and very fast farm (don't even need a decent team)

Treasures and warp trotters (treasures = 760 stellar jades at least + 900 for warp trotters), so it's just open world without fighting too much.

The messenger in the train (3000 or 2000 if you are like me, who don't have 2 teams), but it's the hardest part of the very fast farm (you need a normal team) and ESPECIALLY

Simulate Universe (blessings = 2240, events = 760, levels = 640 (+240 if world 5 and 6) and curios = 1350) and the week log (1600) + 420 for daily (for getting blessings, events and curios, just speedrun the world 2)

Total at least : 10670 stellar jades = 66 pulls (+1240 = 74 pulls). This farm takes 1 week max



I didn't count quests, formidables foes, levels with difficulties (I, II, III...etc), puzzles, success, daily, rewards shop, exchange shop, herta shop, levels rewards, briefing success, ascension characters...etc (this supplement takes like 4-7 days)

That how in 1 and half week I got like 200 limited pulls (more precisely 190 bc I didn't do the +1000 and still missing some blessing and curios) and 150 standard pulls (I'm at 100/300 and I did the 50 pulls)

I got E2 Silver Wolf (160 pulls for her, keeping the rest for kafka) Bronya (50 pulls) and Himeko💀in standard (TL 36 and no quests💀)

Tbh it's only 20 standard + 10 limited pulls for launch, they pump up the number with trailblazer level rewards only so it seems generous while that isn't really something you get right away right? Like if we compare this to genshin it's like tellin "hey look you can get nearly 20 pulls by leveling your AR uo to 60!" While its true, that's like a long term reward like you can't get to those the first few days or weeks and I think it's a bit misleading of mihoyo

so they intentionally give us LESS than pity for free pulls. this way to discourage re-rollers? hahaha AS IF 30-40 minutes required tutorial before pulls can be done wasn't enough deterrence?

if u played genshin you'd realize 10 pull log in events are good things: remember this is stingy mihoyo, not hyper gacha yostar or smtn (dk abt yostar just threw out a name)

Second here. Love your vids. 80 Pulls is the Average now in Genshin's regular patches. I think these 80 are non-exploration, non-story stuff only; which, I think is good? However, I hope the game grows generous as time passes given how much more important characters are

This is why ladies and gentlemen, I won't be touching Star Rail. I can practically smell the Genshin Anniversary player treatment from this game miles and miles away. Hell hath no fury like a gamer scorned.

I do have plans to get into content creation though. I am wondering if I should use Star Rail to show off my 2.5 year old F2P Genshin account.

Basically the real reroll is 40 pulls, 80 is if you get lucky and get the character you want from the 40 pulls then incentivise to continue playing.

Majority of the f2p player base aint getting the limited units thats for sure. ONLY whales ans dolphins can play around with these units. 20 limited pulls is pathetic lmfao

But genshin had events and more time on banners, gonna be real hard if you lose pity
