THAT SET!!! THE COSTUMES!!! THAT SINGING!!!! Oh my gosh, this shows looks amazing! Break a leg to the whole cast and crew! I might be the only theater person to ever say this, but I actually like tech practices. Everyone is doing something and it’s when the show really comes together. It’s crazy but fun at the same time.

a few months ago my state was getting better, and we were doing a production of bright star like this, opening weekend was the second spike and we closed after 3 shows

we were lucky enough to film it and take pictures, and in the recording you can see a few times where people walked on stage with a mask on (we had them on backstage and took them off on stage) and halfway through act 2 a move a desk on and do a big kick for some dynamic ensemble, dancing while moving set, and you can see a mask sticking out of my pocket

it was a blast but unfortunately we had that spike!
