I’m old enough to remember growing up seeing my brothers going out to party like this every Friday… they all just met up at the time and place they said they would be the week before with their friends, no mobile phones… no YouTube.. just choons they heard on the radio or off a mates CD locked in their head… it worked! Shoot forward to today, going out can be so boring and sterile, the younger generation just stare into their screens not even noticing what’s around them or feel too cool to go out on the dance floor and throw shapes like theirs no tomorrow. Hopefully at some point there will be a renaissance… viva la 90s!!

Even though I was a metalhead at the time I saw Leftfield in the Royal Court in Liverpool in 96. They were awesome live and the volume almost shook the plaster off the ceilings. Nice to see some new material, stoked for this new album.
