After the Paris Olympics, China's Olympic gymnastics silver medalist Zhou Yaqin returned to her hometown in Hengyang City, central China's Hunan Province, to help out at her family's restaurant.

What I love about Olympic Chinese athletes is that they’re so humble and respectful. Even they win gold or silver they still remain true to their roots and families, unfazed by their sudden fame. Many continue to live at home with their parents and work hard with every day chores, contributing to their families livelihood. Olympic Gold medalist men’s swimmer Pan Zhele is another great example of an athlete who is down-to-earth. On the other hand, many Olympic medal athletes here in America often get spoiled by fame and riches, and become pompous and irresponsible.
