[Lecture] Discrimination and Rights as Critical Dimensions of Public Policy

This lunchtime seminar focuses on the UN Convention on Elimination of Discrimination Against Women and UN Convention on the Rights of the Child with case studies from two developing countries. It explores these countries' responses to addressing global health issues and how they link to the "right to health" and to core concepts of human rights. Public policies dealing with these issues should consider key elements and learning points from these case studies.
