AKASO GO iPhone App download failed Fix for V50X Action Camera

This is my work around solution to the “download failed” error message in the AKASO GO iPhone app. Hopefully someone will find this useful.

Same issue mine, after downloading the lastest updates on play store the akaso go app. mine it's say it already down loaded but checking on my gallery on my akaso go app on my Android device it not present but going directly on phone storage is there akaso file folder camera and file name but it say is zero file size. I wish I havent updated the app. now I have to plug my akaso brave 7 camera to computer to get the video and picture's. the previous version of the app work fine but every since I updated the app. I can only view the files on the Camera. also is not safe to update firm ware of the camera, I heard that there akaso brave 7, where brick after updating it firm ware. so I'm not open to update firm ware.

same with me..but staying on the dload page for awhile...sudenlly camera made a bib sound and its started dloading

+1 same issue. Other workaround is to inject SD flash directly into the laptop. However I noticed that videos don't have sound that way

7 months later.. just got this camera. Fully updated app, still having this issue. When you’re off-roading in a Jeep you don’t have time to start/stop recording every 8 minutes. 😢 I usually change the sound in my videos anyway to avoid any copyright issues with music playing through my Jeep stereo but it’s annoying when I want to share a clip right away and can’t.

Any update on this issue? I can only successfully download 8 mins or less from my akaso v50x. Thanks in advance

I'm having the same issue. I might just go buy a gopro and save myself the headache. I'm so upset.
