Its Dec 23, 1996 at Fort Lee, Virginia. My mother is in town visiting from chicago. I tell my mom that i need a 7-up to help sooth my heartburn. She says, "ok, baby" as she starts gathering my overnight bags. I tell her that im just walking around the house to sooth my gas. She says, "ok, baby" as she calls a cab. I tell the nurse that i just need to use the potty, she tells me to wait until she returns. I couldnt wait any longer, so to the toilet i went. It felt like the hardest bowl movement ever! In rushes the nurse, my mom, and the doctor. They yank me off the toilet and moments later, im holding a tiny, wet, blue, alien. I named him carlitos (im from chicago, we like gansters 😄). The most wonderful alien to pop into my life! I 💜 you, chuck!
