The Awkwardness of the Cleric Subclasses in D&D 2024

Did you notice something missing from the new Cleric in the 2024 PHB. Or a few somethings.

That's ok. I didn't like how they did subclasses for the Cleric anyway. So let's put the alignment system to some use and make a couple of new ones that make sense.

Chapters:
00:00 - Introduction
03:42 - Law
06:14 - Chaos
08:03 - Good
08:53 - Evil
11:00 - Conclusion

A level 20 Light Cleric with 20 Wisdom, Inspirational Leader & a party of 4 (my table's size, btw) & average of 2 short rests per day (likely with a Warlock in the party) will be providing an average of 480 temporary HP between themselves & the party per day (to be more specific, a minimum of 405 & maximum of 555) while having a selection of amazing offensive, defensive & utility options. Definitely my favorite Cleric subclass.

From a more philosophical point of view, both the death and tempest domains could also be used for a Neutral domain as death and storms both tend to be great equalizers. Neither care if you're good or evil, they are inevitable. "Cue Thanos".

I would move light domain to ‘good’ and use life for ‘neutral’. A cleric who heals well feels more ‘default’ to me
