Stephen Marleys set at 2023 Cali Vibes was the single most powerful set I have ever seen. Had just lost his son shortly before the festival and with the jamaican flags blowing in the long beach air, love filled the stage. Tear filled eyes and still mustered up the strength to sit center stage and beat those Bongos like it could bring his son back. I recorded the set and to this day gives me chills and chokes me up.
I selfishly wish I could relive it, it was so fkin incredible the soul and strength he posesses.
