I've been painting longer than I've been writing but the parallels I keep discovering between them make me appreciate their beauty even more.

This is awesome. I've reread Frost's "The Figure..." for a couple decades. I've often remembered Eliot's suggestion to come cold to poems that are new to one. To read and reread them several times without consulting secondary sources. This has worked well for me. I've greatly enjoyed poems that were mostly impenetrable to me at first read and even years on. I was lucky to come from a family that gave me as a child Lewis Carroll, Mother Goose, Poe, Grimm tales and the Standard Version of Holy Bible. My parents never divided good writing from bad. My family read everything.

So we're not gonna talk about how Andrew is suddenly able to hear and respond to Kaput rather than being blissfully ignorant of the level of roasting he's been receiving? Oh, ok.

Cringiest thing I've ever seen.

Jk, I enjoy and appreciate your videos, including this one. I agree with your perspective on being seen as "cringe."
