This was a terrific tutorial on checkboxes. I still struggle with a couple of ideas in my specific circumstances.
Does this method only apply to Excel on the web, or can it be available in the Windows desktop version of excel, from my 365 subscription? Can I use Excel 365 on the desktop, but not in a browser?
I have a catalog of 1500 designs I have created for shirts. I want a check box to indicate which ones I have uploaded to my shop. I have found that using either form control check boxes or ActiveX checkboxes is both cumbersome and memory consuming. My whole computer grinds to a near halt when I add 1500 checkboxes. I have 64 GB of RAM, and several TB of drive space.
The main reason I need to use Excel on my desktop is because I am blind, and use software to read the screen, which doesn't always detect elements in the browser. It works fine in Excel 2019, or whatever version 365 put on my computer.
