I remember what opium smells like. It is very strong old lady smelling even in the 80’s. I don’t like it. It makes my head hurt. If you have ever smelled perfumes by Elizabeth Taylor (any of them they all kind of give that same vibe) you know what opium smells like, more or less. Only old ladies used to wear opium. Red door is another one I remember that smelled similar that was very popular. Except Red Door was a tad less old lady and middle aged ladies like office ladies that worked in the school district i went to smelled like. My jam in the 80s was exclamation. That was the perfume the younger girls were wearing. Middle school and high school girls wore exclamation. It was very popular for that age group at the time.
