Do not be in a relationship with a filipina who is just trying to extort from you. If your gut tells you, RUN!!! Are you paying for food takeouts/dine-ins for her family when you go out? RUN!!! It won't end there. Their "family oreintedness" sometimes mean you as a foreigner need to support their parents and siblings financially. As filipina myself, this character of some filipinas embarass me a lot.

Fellow filipinas, it doesn't matter if your foreigner boyfriend thinks you are sweet, caring, loving etc. if the the people who cares about him at his home country thinks you are after green card and just want to elevate your financial status a bit beacuse they can tell if you are dirt poor in PH (did you really think they can't tell?).
