Good video. Just three notes:

1. Those are not woodwind runs, those are woodwind arpeggios
2. That harp arpeggio would be impossible to play live
3. Runs are when the instrument plays a scale. If you are playing chords its arpeggios.

Subscribe to my Music Only Channel if you care! Might do something crazy when we reach 1000 subscribers there. Maybe.

Keep doing what you're doing man. Like you, I play classical guitar, I like to compose, and I love breath of the wilds. It's amazing to see where my music could possibly be one day. You've inspired me to do this genre more than anyone else. Keep being awesome sir!

Slow down the runs and you get a Rpg menu theme

Reminds of the FF theme. One long simple and pretty run!

I'd love a longer tutorial about this where we can hear everything each instrument does separately... Thanks!

Hey Alex, your channel is awesome, really! One thing: your are speaking too fast my friend ;) Did you even speed ud at the end?? What's the matter if the video is two time longer? I know about this "people attention" but If the content is valuable (and it is) I don't care how long it is, I'll stay till the end. I will even watch it over and over ;) Keep on going!

Great video, wish it was there when I was struggling with composing the runs....Another way to do this is to listen to Beethovens piano sonatas over and over again, and you will learn literally 100 different ways to do the runs :)

well done alex, i have a video request if you can do it.
i've came into Orchestral / Epic and Trailer music after i was producing Electronic dance music.
the hardest thing i found in this type of genres, is the music theory part of it.
if you don't know, EDM music is based on a really simple stuff from music theory such as 4/4 (one chord at each bar) chord progressions based on triads and Major minor scales, here in this genre, it's really complecated. as well as the Sounds used in EDM are simple (Bassline - Synth Chords - and Main lead - Kick and Drums and A LOT OF WHITE NOISE) is this genre there are a lot of Stuff such as harps strings which makes it more complicated.

also i've been following your channel and watching your videos but i couldn't apply each of it because i don't know how to write this music, so if you make something like a ; Music theory and sounds design for beginners. i'll be appreciated

and thank you for your tutorials. keep going Alex
