Is AI coming for Motion Design?

In this video, we're gonna find out if AI can replace Motion Design. I tested a workflow with ChatGPT and Midjourney AI to find out. The results are terrifying...ly...bad.

AI is a great tool but it seems it is still a long way away from replacing Motion Designers...or is it?

Im not worried until my client can have a real conversation with the Ai. They barely know how to communicate what they want to me or even know what they want most of the time

But someone still has to come up with and articulate the ideas. Sora is a tool for us, clients will most likely ask it to 'make the logo bigger' and 'make it cool'

I guess you didn't see where AI created a movie scene that looked hyper-realistic, AI changed the language and PG rating voice sound, so instead of saying fuck it will say frick.

AI will not take away your job, because in order to work with it, you need to know what to ask, that is, you need to somehow understand the topic.

I’m still stuck on your making a kickass tunnel video in after effects. (That’s probably the wrong title but you probably know which video I’m talking about. ) I’ve spent 8 hrs going back and forth between your video and my after effects project. I’ve gotten to the point of adding a circle but I can’t figure out how to parent it and get it to rotate along with the tunnel rotation. If you could show how you did the rest of it that would awesome. In the meantime I’m just gonna keep trying to figure it out. 😊 Also it’s a very good and informative video.
