Many people forget to use cleaning tablets. Nevertheless, the design of the coffee outlet of the Siemens EQ7 has a lot of flaws. The main flaw is that it can't be opened and cleaned. The EQ6 is in fact a redesign of the EQ7 but has a coffee outlet that's very easy to clean.
To people who are horrified by this: use cleaning tablets and power your machine off when it's done making coffee so the machines rinses the coffee outlet as soon as possible (don't use the timer to power it off).

I've seen these horrible coffee outlets many times before. Impossible to clean
