Is the 2025 Nissan GT-R the end of the line?

We're definitely getting the 2024 Nissan GT-R. Japan has announced updates to the 2025 GT-R. Beyond that? It could be all she wrote for the legendary Japanese sports car... #Autotrader #Nissan #GTR

The R35 is basically an exotic car, they raised the price so high, filled it up with leather for a “premium” interior and made it a smoother ride. I think it defeats the purpose of what made the prior GT-R models legendary - raw, powerful, advanced, and most importantly affordable street / track cars most could afford. They have always been my favorite cars but if some one wanted an exotic car, there are so many “premium” cars in that price range and even cheaper. If they were to go electric with the R36, who would buy it if they could just get a Tesla roadster. There is still a huge marker for affordable gas cars with raw power!

Grabbed the last 2024 Premium my local dealer would ever get. Only one T-Spec coming for them and it's over for the R35 in America. 2025 ends it in Japan.

The 2024 is, again, the SAME OLE CAR we’ve seen for 15 years - with “minor updates”. They’ve milked this car for a decade and a half, refusing to release a REAL new GT-R, and If they’re not going to innovate, good riddance.

ICE cars like these were cool back in the day . AWD 1000hp EV cars made these cars take an early retirement .

Nissan doesn't seem to have anyone that cares, no one up top is really being that pro active. I believe Nissan will come out with a all new and faster model but when? What are they waiting for? Infiniti should also keep making the Q60, it's a good looking car, just make it faster. 400 hp isn't enough these days. The Z is also boring looking, I have seen one since it came out. It's like Nissan just did a simple design because they didn't want to spend a lot of time on it, and put it out just to do so, just to please Z fans, but didn't want to put a lot of effort into it.
